Pops on the River

When: Wednesday, July 3rd at 5 pm; fireworks at 9:45 pm

Where: Coolidge Park

Enjoy a free outdoor concert on the Tennessee River and a dazzling fireworks display! This patriotic event starts at 5 pm with a special tribute to veterans, followed by a live performance by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera at 8 pm. The evening is capped with a stunning fireworks display! Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended.

Chattanooga Lookouts Baseball

When: Game starts at 6:15 pm

Where: AT&T Field

Enjoy post-game fireworks after the Chattanooga Lookouts baseball game against the Jackson Generals. General admission starts at $6 for adults. For more information, call (423) 267-2208.

Chattanooga 4th of July Events

Artillery Programs at Point Park

When: 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm

Where: Point Park, Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park

Celebrate Independence Day at Point Park with a series of artillery firing programs. Step back in time and experience  Admission to Point Park is $7 per adult ages 16 and over and free for ages 15 and under.

Red, White, and Blue Day Discovery Museum

When: 12 pm to 4 pm

Where: Creative Discovery Museum

Enjoy patriotic activities and crafts at the Creative Discovery Museum for 4th of July! Located in downtown Chattanooga, the Creative Discovery Museum caters to children with interactive, hands-on activities and exhibits, and this patriotic event is no different! Beginning at 12 pm, this red-white-and-blue event kicks off with activities and crafts, followed by a reading of the Deceleration of Independence and child-friendly fireworks and a balloon drop! After the fireworks, head out to the plaza for cake, ice cream, and a 21 bottle geyser salute to celebrate the birthday of the United States. Red, White, and Zoo

When: All day

Where: Chattanooga Zoo

The Chattanooga Zoo will bustle this Independence Day with animal meet and greets, camel rides, and train rides on the Zoo Choo train. The Red, White, & Zoo enrichment schedule includes up-close lectures of tamarins, sandcats, and capybaras. Plus, receive $1 off admission if you arrive dressed in red, white, and blue! Summer Music Weekends at Rock City

Where: Rock City

Located minutes outside of Chattanooga is Rock City, famous for its outstanding views, colorful gardens, and special events, including Summer Music Weekends. This summer-long concert series includes performances by regional bands and musicians. During the week of 4th of July, enjoy the music of Tarryn Aimee Smith, an Americana singer-songwriter.
